Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

The workflow of medical practices uses multiple processes each day by all staff members. Successful PCMH practices can isolate these processes and re-engineer them for efficiency using Lean Six Sigma Tools. The concept of teamwork is key and will be emphasized. These principles are low-cost and can be used by all sizes of organizations, from single-physician offices to large multi-physician practices, and by staff at all levels. Learning Objectives

  • Identify a process in your practice that needs to be improved and run a benchmark
  • Utilize a Lean Six Sigma tool to implement needed improvement
  • Remeasure process after Lean Six tool utilized and monitor improvement
