The workflow of medical practices uses multiple processes each day by all staff members. Successful PCMH practices can isolate these processes and re-engineer them for efficiency using Lean Six Sigma Tools. The concept of teamwork is key and will be emphasized. These principles are low-cost and can be used by all sizes of organizations, from single-physician offices to large multi-physician practices, and by staff at all levels.   • Identify a process in your practice that needs to be improved and run a benchmark
  • Utilize a Lean Six Sigma tool to implement needed improvement
