The Merit Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) mandates four performance components that could alter how practices implement PCMHs and other practice improvement initiatives. The success of these practices will impact population health and determine the structure of the healthcare system. This presentation will review MACRA and the ACA and focus on the impact they have on under-resourced practices and hospitals, and underserved communities. (UAN 0850-9999-17-032-L04-P)
