Cari Miller, MSM, PCMH CCE, is Director of Advocacy and Program Operations for the New Jersey Academy of Family Physicians. Ms. Miller has developed, implemented and directed healthcare projects for more than 20 years. To date, she has worked with more than 1500 physicians in more than 1000 locations on Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) recognition and practice transformation projects. Clients throughout the country include private practices, integrated healthcare delivery systems, hospitals, health plans, federally qualified health systems, residency programs and many others. She and her team provide education and assistance to foster practice transformation, as well as provide guidance and assessment to assist with PCMH recognition. She is currently implementing the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Comprehensive Primary Care Initiative serving as faculty lead for the New Jersey market. Ms. Miller presents both locally and nationally on PCMH and practice transformation topics. Ms. Miller has a Masters in the Science of Management with a focus on organizational management. In addition, she achieved the designation of Patient-Centered Medical Home Certified Content Expert from the National Committee on Quality Assurance (NCQA) and served on NCQA’s Expert Advisory Panel for the Certified Content Expert Exam.
