Julie Beard is a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP), who works in conjunction with Dr. Zaheer Khan to provide care for the elderly. Julie joined the Center for Elder Care in Huntsville, AL in 2013. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Belmont University in 1998 and later received her Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama in Birmingham in 2013. She had seven years of Neuro experience and eight years of hospice experience before joining the Center for Elder Care as a Nurse Practitioner. She was instrumental in the design and implementation of the Patient Centered Medical Home which received Level 3 PCMH Recognition.
