Katie received a Bachelor's of Science degree in healthcare administration with minors in business management and community health education from Utah Valley University in 2014. Katie has worked in healthcare for the past nine years. Currently, she works as the Director of Training at Premier Family Medical in American Fork, UT. Katie is passionate about improving healthcare efficiency and quality and, believes this begins with the training/perception healthcare workers hold about patient care. She also focuses a large amount of time on EMR usage and believes that through proper EMR utilization healthcare quality can be vastly improved.
